SPIoT and El-Watch are two IoT-based sensor systems with similarities and differences.

Both systems deliver their data in a web app. This means you can access and analyse your data from anywhere in the world from any internet-enabled end device without having to install any software.

Our System architecture is bases on current M2M communication and visualization standards like MQTT and Jasn:

  • All transmissions are encrypted.
  • Measured values, Meta and customer data are all stored in separate application containers.

Minimal installation and running cost

The cost of monitoring anything from class room air quality to machinery or asset health is typically not driven by the cost of the sensors but in fact by the wiring, the installation and the IT maintenance cost. The relevance of NB-IoT is that it offers an opportunity to minimize these costs.

 

Fast results

With SPIoT you mount your sensor (no wiring) turn it on. The data will find its on way home through the telephone network. On the SPIoT platform you can determine how often it should measure and how often it should send data. You then use your customer specific login on the SPIoT Website to view your data or change the sensor configuration. The next time it send a message it will pick-up the new config.

Intuitive   SPIoT®   software   platform

You can see your measured data. You can set alarm limits for Temperature or CO2 or whatever. You can instruct the website to send yourself a message if a condition becomes critical. CO2 levels too high or Temperature too low. The results are classified in Nominal, Require Attention or Critical. You can attach one or more sensors to an asset. 8 Sensors distributed in a Storage Hall monitoring temperature and humidity.
